Acknowledgement of country
I acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which I live and work, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation. I pay my deepest respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded.
Sonny
This series tells the story of Sonny, a teenage boy for whom I have provided disability support for three and a half years. I hope to document his personality, humour, interests, idiosyncrasies, and developmental growth, give him a voice, and destigmatize disability. The work also seeks to visualise our friendship.
